The focal point of my artistic research is the analysis of the
contemporary social environment.
It is a world in which the public domain is almost entirely inhabited
by a multiplicity of categories of consumption, such as branding and
target groups, products and consumers, entertainment and passive
audiences who swallow up everything which is being served by the media.
More explicitly, I’m concerned with the impact of the
celebrity-cult, mainly upon female society.
The desire for success, luxury and eternal beauty that celebrities
stand for, along with the space given in the media to gossip are
crucial themes in my artistic work, which, although critical, never
fails to produce an ironical thread.
